About the attraction

Water running down from Hallasan meets the ocean here, and a deep pool has formed ringed by black basalt cliffs — which is why the water reads so dark. Walking round it is free; riding a clear kayak or a teu, the traditional raft, across the pool is charged separately. Those take bookings and do not run when the wind is up. Parking is above the pool.
