Sinduri Coastal Dunes

About the attraction

Sea wind has pushed sand into these ridges over thousands of years, and no other dune field in Korea comes near the scale. It looks like desert, but grasses and insects found nowhere else live in the sand, which is why it is a protected reserve. You walk a boardwalk and stay on it. There is no admission or parking fee. It closes at six from March to October, five in winter, and all day Monday.
