Sin Seok-jeong House

About the attraction

The poet Sin Seok-jeong built this himself in the 1930s and lived here, and the thatched house still stands in a lane in Buan town. It is not a place of large sights — a yard and a few rooms is all of it. The poems he wrote in this yard hold their place in modern Korean verse, and people come to see the setting for themselves. It is a registered cultural heritage property. It is never crowded, and good for sitting a while.
