Ikseon-dong Hanok Street

About the attraction

A 1920s estate of modest hanok was never demolished — the interiors were reworked into restaurants and cafés instead. The lanes are barely wide enough for two people to pass, so cars cannot enter, which is what makes it good to walk. It is a few minutes from Jongno 3-ga Station, with public parking over by Jongmyo. Each place seats very few, so evenings usually mean writing your name down and waiting.
