Gwangjang Market

About the attraction

Opened in 1905, it is now best known for its food alley. Stalls line both sides of the aisle and you eat where you stand — bindaetteok fried to order, raw beef, mayak gimbap, knife-cut noodles. Hours vary stall by stall, early evening is the fullest, and the vintage clothing floor upstairs runs daytime only. There is public parking towards Jongmyo, but Jongno 5-ga Station opens straight onto the market.
