About the attraction

Weathered granite peaks stand in overlapping ranks with valleys running between them. The national park charges no admission — only parking. From Sogongwon a cable car lifts you to the Gwongeumseong ridge in minutes, putting you high on the mountain without a climb, and Sinheungsa temple sits below it. In the October foliage season the car parks fill before dawn, so many people leave the car in Sokcho and come in by bus.
