Seongsan Ilchulbong

About the attraction

A volcano that rose from the sea hardened into a bowl-shaped crater, now a UNESCO natural heritage site. Stairs climb to the 180-metre summit — about an hour there and back — and it is this section that takes a ticket. You can also skip the ticket and walk only the coastal path below. It opens at seven in the morning and closes in the evening, with last entry about an hour before, and it shuts on the first Monday of each month. Parking is free.
