About the attraction

Above Aewol, on the mid-slope land, the owner planted and tended palms over many years. It looks nothing like the rest of Jeju — more like somewhere further south — and people come for that in photographs. It is not large; thirty or forty minutes covers it. Being private land, it charges admission, and opens nine to six. You turn inland off the coast road, but the drive there is quiet.
