About the attraction

On Jeju's southwest coast, Sanbangsan rises behind you and the two Hyeongje islands sit offshore, so any direction you face has a backdrop. Look closely at the sand and it is shell and broken fragments of tiny shells, which gives it a different colour from other beaches. It is somewhere to walk and look rather than to swim. Rock is exposed as the tide falls, so check the tide table. Open at any hour, and free.
