Namsa Yedam Village

About the attraction

An old village in the foothills of Jirisan, where walls of packed earth and stone run more than two kilometres along its lanes. Yedam means the old walls, and also to hold what is old. Two scholar trees lean into each other at the centre of the village and are called the married couple; people pass beneath them. It was never developed heavily for tourism, so it stays quiet. You can stay overnight in a hanok.
