Juknokwon Bamboo Forest

About the attraction

Damyang county cleared and opened this bamboo grove as a park in 2003. The stems grow dense enough to darken midday, and when the wind moves, the leaves rasp against each other overhead. Eight paths divide the grove, so the walk can be short or long. Admission is charged, and the front and rear gates both have free parking. It closes at six in summer, a little earlier in winter. Gwanbangjerim and the noodle street next door follow on.
