Jeonju Hanok Village

About the attraction

When Japanese commercial power grew during the occupation, Jeonju people built hanok on the opposite side of town and settled together — so these are early twentieth-century houses, not a Joseon village. Around seven hundred remain, now holding restaurants, tea houses and hanbok rental shops. Gyeonggijeon and Jeondong Cathedral stand within it. Traffic inside is restricted at certain hours, so park in a public lot and walk in.
