Jeongdongsimgok Badabuchaegil

About the attraction

For years this was a restricted coastal strip that civilians could not enter; a boardwalk now runs beneath the cliffs. The marine terrace along it records the seabed being pushed up, and is designated a natural monument. Ticket offices stand at both ends, Jeongdongjin and Simgok harbour, and the three kilometres take about an hour. It is one-way, so returning to where you started means a bus or a taxi. It closes when the swell is high.
