About the attraction

Only a few paces separate the sand from the track, so stepping off the train puts you at the water. The name means it lies due east of Gwanghwamun, and on New Year's Day people ride the night train up for the sunrise. Beside the station, rail bikes run the disused line along the shore. They take bookings, and there is paid parking next to the station. The Badabuchaegil coastal walk starts near here.
