The market sits against the water at Nampo-dong under a roof shaped like a gull's wing. Pick a live fish from the ground-floor stalls and it goes up to the first-floor restaurants to be served as sashimi. In the lanes outside, hagfish is grilled over briquettes. It opens around nine in the morning and closes about nine at night, with regular closing days. Gukje Market and the Nampo-dong streets adjoin it.
