About the attraction

A national memorial covering the Japanese occupation and the independence movement, with seven exhibition halls scattered across a large site. Entry costs nothing; only parking is charged. It is a long way from the car park to the halls, so a shuttle circles the grounds and is worth taking. Some hands-on programmes need booking ahead. On dates like Liberation Day the events overlap and the approach roads back up, so arrive in the morning.
