Imjingak

About the attraction

On the south bank of the Imjin River, this is among the northernmost points civilians can reach. A railway bridge severed in the war and a steam locomotive stopped where it was still stand, along with an altar where displaced families hold rites facing north. Peace Nuri Park runs alongside as broad lawn, up to a hill of pinwheels. Entry is free and only parking is charged. A fairground area brings families.
