Gyeokpo Beach

About the attraction

At the tip of the Byeonsan peninsula, the beach is wedged between Gyeokpo harbour and Chaeseokgang. The cliffs are a few paces from the sand, so the two are seen together. Showers and lifeguards operate only in the summer season; otherwise it is walkers alone. There is parking in front, and a fish market at the harbour where sashimi and shellfish are bought on the spot. This is the west coast, so the sun sets into the sea.
