Cheongnamdae

About the attraction

Built in 1983 and used as the president's private villa for twenty years, it opened to the public in 2003. The main house, gardens and walking paths cover nearly 1.6 square kilometres facing Daecheong Lake. Because it was closed for so long, the woodland has been left largely untouched. Visits are booked online, with admission and parking charged separately. A monorail runs on the sloping sections.
