Bulguksa Temple

About the attraction

A Silla-era temple and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Two pagodas face each other in the main courtyard — one plain, one intricate — showing that the Silla builders meant to set two kinds of beauty side by side. The stone terraces and stairs are original. There is no admission charge now, only parking. It opens nine to six, and pets are not admitted. Seokguram is reached by the mountain road above.
