Hahoe Folk Village

About the attraction

The Nakdong River loops around it, which is where the name Hahoe comes from. The Ryu family have lived here more than six hundred years and residents still do. Tiled roofs and thatch stand mixed together, which is the particular character of the place. Admission is charged; parking is free. A shuttle runs from the ticket office into the village, and the market by the ticket office serves Andong braised chicken and salted mackerel.
